Hello! My name is Franklin Kimmell, but feel free to call me Frankie. I am an Admission Counselor at Illinois College. I am originally from Danville, IL which is located on the eastern side of Illinois. I graduated from Illinois College in 2016 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies, International Studies with a focus in World Politics, and a minor in French and Francophone Studies. During my four years at IC I was involved in the Coalition for Ethnic Awareness, helped plan Illinois College’s Diversity Week and Multicultural Festival, a Student Ambassador, a Voices Informing Prospective Students (VIPS) caller, a member of Alpha Phi Omega, and created a Walk for Water Charity event. I also had the opportunity to study and intern in Washington, D.C. for a semester through The Washington Center. After graduating from IC, I attended graduate school where I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Communication Studies and taught courses in Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication. I am extremely thankful for the opportunities and experiences that IC provided me and can say that I truly enjoyed my four years on the Hilltop.

My territory includes the counties of northern IL (excluding Chicagoland area) and western IL as well as most of the western US (excluding California).
